Can i use ground up rolled oats in place of sensitive oatmeal cereal?
I would recommend cooking the rolled or instant oats first and then blending all of the ingredients together into a puree.
if I freeze this, will it turn brown?
Yes. It will will. Better to make only what the baby needs at a time.
Should the spinach be steamed or cooked. Leafy greens are getting people sick all the time!
I use raw spinach as they has the mildest flavor.
Should this be heat up after putting in fridge
If you baby prefers warm purees, then yes.
Could I use other baby cereal I have in hand? I currently have some Quinoa and Carrot baby cereal left.
Yes! Of course!
Baby LOVED this recipe! We doubled the spinach, because he actually loves greens. This was a win! Thank you.
So happy to hear that your little one loved this recipe! If he loves spinach, then don’t miss our Spinach Muffins or Spinach Pancakes! They are both delicious!
