This healthy baby breakfast is made with a heaping serving of mixed berries, zucchini and wholesome oatmeal cereal that has a good amount of fiber, folate, iron and vitamins A, D and E in it that will help start baby’s morning off right.

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup mixed berries, thawed if using frozen
  • 1/2 medium zucchini, chopped
  • 1/4 cup  Beech-Nut oatmeal cereal or homemade cereal
  • 1/4 cup warm water, breastmilk or formula

Instructions 

  • Place the berries, zucchini, cereal and liquid into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Age: 6 months and up
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 2 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
