You cook the oatmeal right?
This recipe uses baby oatmeal cereal, so it doesn’t need to be cooked. Just mixed with liquid. You can use homemade oatmeal as well if you prefer.
Do you peel the zucchini? I fed my 5 month old a non-peeled, cooked zucchini purée today and it seemed to upset his stomach
It might have been too much fiber for his developing digestive tract. You can definitely peel the zucchini going forward.
Any thoughts on how much a serving should be for a 9 mo old?
As much as baby wants to eat that day! I would start them with 4 ounces and increase if they are still hungry. Babies and toddlers are all over the place with how much they eat day-to-day – this is completely normal! Always take baby’s cues on their hunger levels, not yours.
Would spinach be a good substitute if you don’t have zucchini on hand??
Yes!
Do u Cook the zuchinni?
No, it will blend up great without having to cook it.
