This is a great easy recipe! Kiddo has even started helping with putting on her own toppings.
I love that your kiddo is adding their own toppings! Such a fun way to get them involved in the kitchen.
Have you tried these with regular size bagels? If so, did you adjust the baking temp and time?
You can totally use regular-size bagels for this recipe. I would keep the oven temp and cooking time the same.
I’m so happy, my 2 year old has had a serious issue with throwing food off the high chair. Maybe cause she was getting bored with what I had been making cause I didn’t have any good ideas on what to make for a toddler but these recipes have been actually making her eat most of her meals!! So thank you for that
So glad that your little one enjoyed this meal!
How would you properly freeze these and defrost them? And how long would they last in the freezer? I’m so clueless about “freezer meals” I need to learn and these look great for my 2yr old!
I would cook and then let them completely cool on the counter before placing then in a ziplock baggie or air-tight container before placing in the freezer. You can then pop them into the microwave or oven to reheat. They would last 2-3 months in the freezer.
These look great! To freeze do you just freeze after they r cooked and cooled? Thank you!
Yes, that is how I do it and it works great. I’m guessing that you can assemble and freeze before cooking but I haven’t tried it this way before.
