Banana Peach Baby Food

When you are short on time ⏰ or don’t want to turn on the oven🙅‍♀️, this recipe is perfect to give your baby a tasty meal in less than 5 minutes 👏!

This puree is made by simply pureeing peaches, ripe bananas and a pinch of cinnamon for a minute or two in the blender. You can use fresh peaches or frozen peaches you have thawed.

I would highly recommend you make a big batch and freeze some to make those busy days 🤪 a little easier!

Spread of ingredients for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • Bananas: use ripe bananas (heavy on the brown spots) as they have more natural sweetness for baby and they will not cause constipation.
  • Peaches: can use fresh or frozen (thaw frozen before using).
  • Cinnamon: I like to add a little cinnamon for some sweetness and flavor.

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree on low-medium speed for 30-45 seconds or until completely smooth.
  • Serve or freeze for later.

How to store

You can keep the puree covered in the fridge for up to 2 days, after that time the banana will start to brown.

You can freeze the puree for up to 4 months. See this guide on how to store, freeze and thaw baby food purees.

Notes

Age: 6 months and up (stage 2)
Yield: roughly 20 ounces
Note on Peaches: I peeled my peaches because the skin was looking a little soggy. You can definetly leave the peel on if you have a high-speed blender, just blend the puree for a few more seconds to make sure the peel is completely blended.
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
