Hi, I really love your blog. Thanks you I make my own baby food. But I have a question. How do you keep the baby food from going bad when you are going out Shopping or to the park?
Hello Dorothy,
So glad you found the blog and are using it!!! Homemade baby food is so easy and so yummy.
So you can do a couple of things when taking baby food out with you. If I knew I would be feeding it to my babes within an hour or so I would defrost at home and put it into a glass travel container. If it was going to be over an hour and it is already frozen you can simply let it defrost while you are on the go (this usually takes a couple hours). Or if it is from the fridge or already defrosted you can put it into a small glass or thermos container (the metal kind that can keep things either hot or cold) and put it in a travel bag with an ice pack.
Hope that helps!
xoxo,
Michele
