This vibrant green puree is made with avocado, spinach and sensitive oatmeal cereal and is full of healthy fats (help fill baby up for longer), protein, fiber, iron and folate.

  • 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 small avocado, pitted
  • 1/2 cup Beech-Nut sensitive oatmeal cereal or homemade cereal
  • 1/2 cup warm water, breastmilk or formula

  • Place the spinach, avocado, cereal and liquid into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Age: 6 months and up

Homemade Cereal: this or this would be great homemade cereals to use in this recipe.
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 2 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
