This Banana, Tofu and Pear Baby Food Puree may look meek, but its delicious flavor is anything but. Made in under 5 minutes and bursting with banana milkshake flavor, your baby is going to love this puree. Great for 6+ months—stage 2 baby food.

Ingredients 

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup tofu (see notes below)
  • 1 pear, peeled, cored and roughly chopped
  • pinch cinnamon (optional)

Instructions 

  • Place the tofu on a cutting board and slightly press with a paper towel or dishtowel to get any extra water out. Roughly cube and add to a blender or food processor.
  • Add the pear and banana into the blender or food processor. Puree the ingredients for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth, adding in water in 1/4 cup increments if needed.

Notes

Age: 6+ months
Yield: 10 ounces
Note on Tofu: I would recommend purchasing organic sprouted firm tofu for this recipe if your budget allows. 
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months.
