  • 1 8-ounce boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs cubed
  • 1 cup chicken stock low sodium
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • In a medium saucepan, bring the cubed chicken, broth and parsley to a boil over medium heat. Turn heat down to low and simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is just cooked through. Let cool slightly.
  • Transfer all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until you reach your desired consistency, adding more stock in 1/4 cup increments if needed.

Extra Healthy Fat : For some extra healthy fat, this puree is also wonderful with a teaspoon of grass-fed butter (salt free) added to the blender right before pureeing.
Age: 4 months and up
Yield: roughly 12 ounces
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 2 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
