Plums for baby? Yes, please! One of the best parts of starting solids is introducing your baby to a wide variety of flavors, and plums are a fun one to add when they're in season. Pair them with a pinch of cinnamon to help balance their sweet-tart flavor. Great for babies 6+ months.
In a medium saucepan, place the plums, cinnamon, and water.
Cook over medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring often or until the plums are tender. Let cool slightly.
Transfer the plums to a blender of food processor.
Turn on the blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 minutes on medium. If the puree is too thick, add 1/4 cup of the reserved liquid at a time, until you achieve desired consistency.
