Light, creamy, and low in sugar - you'd never guess we're talking about healthy cream cheese frosting! With the perfect amount of sweetness and tangy, you'll want to use this easy 5 minute 4-ingredient cream cheese frosting for cupcakes, cakes, tarts, fruit dips, and more. Great for babies, toddlers & kdis.

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz cream cheese, soften at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup, honey or agave nectar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, place all of the ingredients.

  • Starting on low and working your way to medium-high, beat with a hand mixer or stand mixer for 2-3 mintues or until smooth and creamy. Scrap down sides as needed.

  • Use frosting as needed

Notes

Age: 9+ months
Yield: roughly 2 cups
Storage: Store cream cheese frosting in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Bring it to room temperature and give it a little re-whip before using. This cream cheese frosting can also be frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight container. When you’re ready to use, place it in the fridge to thaw overnight.
How to Soften Cream Cheese
Make sure to soften your cream cheese to room temperature before you start making the frosting. You can leave the cream cheese on your kitchen counter for about an hour. Or you can soften the cream cheese, unwrapped, on a microwave-safe plate for about 15-30 seconds.
