With flavors like Tropical Green Smoothie, Peanut Butter Spinach Smoothie and Peachy Kale Smoothie – it will be hard to decide which of these smoothies to make first. You can make these smoothies on-the-spot for freeze them in smoothie packs for the ultimate time-saver on a hectic morning.
Place all of the ingredients listed in the FREEZER PACK section into a ziplock baggie or stasher bag. Press out all of the air and seal. On the outside of the bag make sure to label the smoothie flavor and what you need to add into the blender along with the smoothie contents. Freeze overnight or for up to 6 months.
To Make Smoothie
Take the frozen smoothie bag out the freezer and let sit on counter for 5-10 minutes. Then add all the contents of baggie to a blender as well as the milk and honey. Depending on how thin your little one likes their smoothies you may need to add a couple more tablespoons of milk to the smoothie while blending. Blend for 1-2 minutes on high speed until completely smooth.
Notes
On-The-Spot Smoothie Instructions: If you want the smoothie right now, add of the ingredients as well as 1/2 cup of ice cubes into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately for best results.Yield: 1 large adult or 2 small toddler size smoothiesNote on Milk: You can use regular, almond, soy, oat, ect. I used almond milk to make these smoothies.
