Apple Pie Smoothie - Toddler + Kid Approved

Filled with 7 nutritious ingredients - apple, banana, oats, hemp seeds, spices, almond milk and even cauliflower, this smoothie is a tasty treat for your toddler or kid.

  • In a blender, place all of the ingredients.
  • Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, adding more milk if it becomes too thick.
  • Pour and serve.

Notes

Age: 9 months and up (for babies under 1 year of age, omit the honey)
Yield: 2 large kid size smoothies
Notes on Apple: you can use any variety of apple you prefer, I would just avoid using green or red delicious apples in this recipe. You can peel or leave your apple unpeeled, it's up to you. I leave my unpeeled and you can see flecks of red peel but the kids don't even notice.
