- 4 red delicious apples, peeled (optional), cored and roughly chopped
- 1 fennel bulb, trimmed, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup water
In a medium saucepan, add in the apples and fennel. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until apples are tender when pricked with fork. Let cool slightly.
Transfer all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 minutes or until you have reached your desired consistency, adding in extra water in tbsp increments if needed.
Age: 6+ months
Yield: 20 ounces
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
