Sweet Potato, Pear + Red Pepper Baby Food Puree
Loaded with vitamin A, B6, C, E, folate, beta-carotene, potassium, calcium, lycopene and fiber, this puree has a ton of essential nutrients for growing baby!

- 1 sweet potato, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and roughly chopped
- 1 pear peeled, cored and roughly chopped
Bring 2 inches of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Place sweet potato in a steamer pot over boiling water, cover, cook for 10 minutes.
Add the red pepper and the pear to the sweet potato and steam for another 5-10 minutes or until pear is tender.
Let cool slightly. Reserve steamer water.
Add all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree for 1-2 mintue or until smooth, adding steamer water in 1/4 cup increments, if needed.
Age: 6+ months
Yield: 15 ounces
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
