How to Freeze Yogurt (super easy!)

Yogurt is easy to freeze, both in the container it came in, as well as in ice cube trays. Freezing yogurt in ice cube trays makes for perfect portions to be thawed for later use in yogurt parfaits, smoothies, baked goods, and more.

  • 1-3 cups yogurt

How to Freeze Yogurt in an Ice Cube Tray

  • Scoop the yogurt into each spot in the ice cube tray. Give the tray a few gentle taps to settle the yogurt.

  • Place the ice cube tray in the freezer until solid.

  • Remove the frozen yogurt from the tray. Transfer into a freezer-safe bag and freeze for up to 2 months.

How to Freeze Yogurt in a Container

  • Place yogurt in an airtight freezer-safe container, leaving some space at the top to allow for expansion.
