- 1 pound strawberries hulled and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons red onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 lime juiced
In a medium bowl, place the strawberries, cilantro, red onion, garlic and lime juice and gently mix until well incorporated.
Place in fridge until ready to serve.
Spice it Up - for a little extra kick, feel free to add in 1/2 seeded and chopped jalapeño pepper to the strawberry salsa.
Yield - not enough:) 2 cups
Storage - store in air-tight container in fridge for 1-2, though the strawberries do get a little soft on the second day.
