This light yet tangy puree is a great way to introduce baby to antioxidant rich raspberries.

Ingredients

  • 4 apples, cored, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 3/4 cup raspberries
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, place the apples, raspberries and water. Cover and heat on medium-low heat for 8-10 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring often. Take off heat and let cool slightly.
  • Transfer ingredients to a blender or food processor and add in vanilla extract. Puree for 1-2 minutes on high or until you have reached your desired consistency. If puree is too thick, add in water, breast milk or formula, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you have the right thickness.
