Combine the pear, oats, water and cloves into a medium saucepan and heat on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes or until pear is tender, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, place the dates in small bowl and cover with very warm water. Soak for 10 minutes.
Add in the cooked oats and pear as well as the dates into a blender or food processor. For a stage 2 puree - puree for 1-2 minutes or until completley smooth. For a stage 3 puree - pulse in 5 second intervals until combined yet still chunky.
Age: 6+ months - stage 2 or 3 baby food
Yield: 15 ounces
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
