Ingredients 

  • 6 apples peeled, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup canned full-fat coconut milk (I recommend using organic)
  • 1/4 tsp cloves

Instructions 

  • Place the apples, coconut milk and cloves in medium saucepan and cover. Heat over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until apples can be cut in half with the back of a spoon. Let cool slightly.
  • Transfer all of the ingredients into blender and puree until smooth.

Notes

Age: 4 months and up
Yield: 20 ounces
Additional Spices: Feel free to use the following spices instead of the cloves – you can add in 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1/4 tsp nutmeg or even 1/2 chopped mint leaf into this recipe.
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
