5-Minute Mango Baby Food Puree

This 5-minute Mango Baby Food Puree is a great way to introduce baby to the magical taste of one of the worlds healthiest fruits – MANGOS!

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango Deseed, peel and roughly chop
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  • Place the mango, banana and nutmeg into a blender or food processor and puree for 1 minute or until completely smooth. If your mango is not ripe enough, you might need to add in up to a 1/4 cup of water while blending to get the right consistency.

Notes

Additional Spices: Feel free to also add in a pinch of cinnamon, cloves, mild curry powder, mint, basil or fresh ginger before blending.
Additional Add-Ins: You can also add in a handful of raspberries, a spoonful of full-fat plain Greek yogurt, a splash of canned coconut milk or even a 1/4 cup of chopped spinach to this recipe for more delicious meal options.
Yield: 8 ounces
Age: 4+ months
Storage: Fridge – store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freezer – can be frozen for up to 4 months (this and this are my favorite freezer storage containers).
