Valentine’s Day School Lunch Idea

January 20, 2019

This Valentine’s Day School Lunch is a fun and healthy way to help your kid celebrate the holiday of love❤️! This lunch can easily be made gluten, dairy and nut free! There is nothing like spreading a little love during Valentine’s Day ♥️ One of the ways I love to share my love, is through food - delicious and healthy food! And that means, I get up extra early and make my girls a special school lunch on Valentine’s Day (I completely acknowledge that I am that type of crazy mom, but I’m just rolling with it:). Strawberry, Spinach + Chives and Barley Baby Food Puree

September 12, 2013

Spoon full of spinach, strawberry and barley baby food puree.

There is no such thing as dishes. Groceries will magically appear in my fridge. I will have all the time to play on my hands and knees. I will have a never ending river of patience. The words 'to-do list' are not even a part of my vocabulary. Perfect day. But if for some reason the perfect day I have in mind does not appear, I will be making this recipe. A recipe that will make anyone happy - strawberry fields. Earthy spinach mixed with spicy chives and chewy barley all topped with sweet strawberries. Just look at it. Doesn't it just make you smile? Served hot or cold. In the rain or sun. With a spoon or by little hands. Chop off their ...
