Green Tropical Smoothie Popsicles for Toddler + Kids

June 3, 2020

Green smoothie popsicle of a Dino roaring

These Green Tropical Smoothie Popsicles are am amazing frozen summer treat for toddlers and kids that are filled with a (not-so) hidden-veggie - spinach๐Ÿƒ! And because these popsicles are filled with nothing but healthy ingredients you can feel good about serving them for breakfast, snack, lunch or a dessert. Spinach: packed with iron, magnesium and vitamins A, C and K, also makes these popsicles the fun green color. You can use 1/2 - 1 cup of packed spinach in this recipe. If your kiddos are new to green popsicles, I would start by using 1/2 cup of spinach as they won't be able to taste it. You can add more spinach the next time you make these popsicles. Banana: full of potassium and fiber, adding a banana gives these popsicles a smooth and creamy texture. Pineapple: gives these popsicles a fun tropical flavor twist while also adding a huge amount of natural sweetness. You can use fresh or frozen in this recipe. I usually use frozen. Honey: is added to give these popsicles ...

Made in 30 minutes with only 5 simple ingredients! Ingredients Ground Chicken: either light or dark meat ground chicken or turkey works great. Parmesan: I prefer to use grated parmesan for this recipe, but shredded would also work if that is all you have on hand. Breadcrumbs: you can use regular, panko or gluten-free breadcrumbs. Egg: one egg is used to bind the mixture together. Spices: we use a combination of Italian seasoning mix, garlic powder and a little salt and pepper. If serving to baby, you can omit the salt on their portion and add a pinch to your portion either in the mixture or on top of the meatballs. If you don't have an Italian seasoning mix on hand you can use a combination of dried basil, oregano and thyme. How to Make these Meatballs In a large bowl, add in all of the ingredients and mix until ...
